Vanessa Hauc, "Noticiero Telemundo" News Anchor Telemundo
Vanessa Hauc, Peruvian born, brings many years of reporting experience and enthusiasm to news broadcasting.
Currently works at “Al Rojo Vivo” con Maria Celeste, in the national and international daily news magazine show on Telemundo Network. In ARV, Vanessa is the news anchor and the host’s substitute. She has produced, written and presented countless human-interest stories. Vanessa has covered special events like 9/11 Anniversary in New York, “La Vírgen de Guadalupe” a Telemundo Network Special, highlighting the Mexican religious traditions. She has also been in the middle of breaking news like Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans.
3 years ago she developed a segment called “Alerta Verde” (Green Alert) which focuses on environmental issues; raising awareness on the importance of educating our communities and their relationship with the planet; the segment was so successful that it was extended by the Network and became a company policy for Telemundo. Vanessa is very passionate about this subject.
Hauc was at KINC, Channel 15, Univision, Las Vegas where she was the weekend anchor and news reporter for the Monday through Friday “News @ six and eleven.”
Vanessa was also the anchor and co-producer of “En Contacto,” a weekly public affairs show on KCLV, public television focusing on issues that affect the Latin Community in Las Vegas.
Vanessa Hauc came to the U-S looking for opportunities and new experiences. She lived in France for 2 years where she studied French culture and languages. Currently she lives in Miami with her son, where she just finish her Masters Degree in “International Political Economy” at University of Miami.
